John V. Catapano, P.E.
President
As President of Catapano Engineering, P. C., John V. Catapano is responsible for engineering, design and production of
plans and documents for various clients in both private and public sectors.
With years of experience in engineering and construction, Mr. Catapano has gained expertise in building construction,
site plan engineering, grading and drainage design, and construction inspections. Mr. Catapano has been responsible for the
design of many gasoline service stations and retail food establishments, as well as other commercial retail facilities in
the New York Metropolitan area. Along with the design, Mr. Catapano was responsible for the complete permitting process, from
the Town Board approvals through Zoning, Planning and Building Department approvals to the final Certificate of Occupancy.

Mark J. Catapano Vice President
General Experience: With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing,
Mark J. Catapano brings sharp business practices to Catapano Engineering. After running a construction corporation for ten
(10) years, Mark J. Catapano joined the CE staff adding construction experience and management skills. As a business owner,
Mark J. Catapano had extensive experience dealing with other professional engineering and architectural firms and completely
understands client needs and expectations. At CE, Mark J. Catapano monitors production and supervises the progression
of projects for expedient results. As Vice President, Mark J. Catapano manages all areas of business operations and functions
to accomplish company goals. With an aggressive approach toward growth, Mark J. Catapano maintains client contact

Mark Abrahamer, R.A.
Architectural Design Director
General Experience:
As a member of CE's Architectural staff, Mark Abrahamer's project experience and specialized studies have focused on
high technology retrofit in the commercial sector. His expertise also includes the design of interior furniture layouts and
finish specifications for public and private schools, along with large-scale commercial supermarket experience. Mark's experience
includes the use of state of the art computer software for all phases of planning and design, from studies and analysis to
preparation of detailed construction plans and specifications.
Prior to joining CE, Mark was the chief architectural designer managing all phases of luxury residential design work
at an architectural office in Great Neck, New York. Mark also has experience with observation and supervision of construction
projects involving Criminal Justice Facilities, banks and residential projects.

Joseph Deal Project Engineer
General Experience:
A graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology and has continued
to successfully pass the Fundamentals of Engineering exam working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Engineer. Joseph
Deal offers his talents combined with an aggressive approach towards team designs and managing projects.
Responsible for managing multiple, concurrent projects from the beginning pre-planning stage to project completion. His
project management skills along with constant communication to the customer and staff provides the coordination required for
complex projects.
Prior to joining the Catapano Engineering, P.C. team, Joseph Deal worked for a large Construction Company with Environmental,
Architectural, Engineering, Project Management and Maintenance services. As Project Manager of the General Contracting Department,
he was responsible for estimating, sub-contractor relations, construction coordination, project financial's and project close
outs.

A graduate of New York Institute of Technology, Andrew J. Tyhacz brings a solid background of professional experience
to Catapano Engineering, As a designer in various architectural offices, Andrew has developed expertise in a broad range of
building types, including corporate space planning, high end residential construction and construction field inspection. As
the senior CAD manager at CE, Andrew Tyhacz is responsible for the continual refinement and organization of the CAD system.
Utilizing the most up to date system hardware, Andrew manages the CAD network to provide access to the most current architectural
and engineering standards and details. As a manager of Technology, Andrew keeps abreast of the ever-changing building codes
and standards, giving Catapano Engineering an edge in research and design.
